New York, NY (Future150) -- Chris Giles has been a name on the national recruiting landscape for a few years now. As a freshman guard, he played with the likes of D.J. Hogg and Tyler Davis. Considered to be more of a shooting guard back then, Giles has now transformed himself into more of a point guard.

At 6-foot-3, his ability to create is welcome. While playing point guard at the next level is the ultimate goal, Giles has still retained his ability to score as well.

The son of former Oklahoma Sooner guard Chris Giles, he isn't quite a done deal to Lon Kruger and company at this point in time.

Washington and Notre Dame are the latest schools to express interest, while Boise State, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Creighton have already offered.

"Oklahoma really interests me, I like what Coach Kruger has done down there, them losing coach Hill, who was my lead recruiter, is interesting, but doesn't really effect how I feel about them"  he said of the Sooners.

One other school to note is Creighton. The Bluejays have aready put together a very talented 2017 class, and adding Giles would seemingly signal that the Jays made a huge step up in recruiting. As it stands now, their 2017 group may be the most highly rated in school history regardless.

A high-academic prospect, Giles will also bring value off the floor as well. For that reason, look for a number of the high-academic, high-major programs to come calling on him sooner rather than later.
