New Orleans, LA (Future150) -- Package deals are one of the more intriguing parts of the recruiting world, and on Monday afternoon the one most sure to happen came true.

Brison Gresham and DeJon Jarreau are both top 150 recruits, and have played together both during the high school season and for Elfrid Payton Elite on the EYBl circuit. Because the two play so well together, they decided to play together at the next level as well.

Last week the two cut their list to Miami and UMass, and took UMass in this past weekend. Despite the Hurricanes putting forth their best efforts, it was UMass that struck gold with the New Orleans duo.

So what does this mean for the Minutemen? For one, they have their future point guard in Jarreau, who has great size for the position. Gresham is the type of big man who doesn't need the ball to be effective, and has only gotten better in recent months. Both are going to be major additions for the program and should have an impact from day one.

New York native Unique McLean is already part of the 2016 class for Derek Kellog and company and should fit well with Jarreau. Throw in the fact that UMass is still involved with top-40 prospect Bruce Brown and 3-star forward Chris Baldwin, and this class is potentially program changing for the Minutemen.

Kellog and his staff landed two monster recruits who should be a major problem in the A-10 for years to come. Both Gresham and Jarreau both have bright futures and should become fan favorites in Amhearst sooner rather than later.
