Pittsburgh, PA (Future150) -- The Pitt Jamfest is always one of the best events in the month of April and this year's tournament did nothing to change that fact. A mix of power programs in the younger divisions, as some of the best non-sponsored teams in the 17U division made this past weekend one loaded with talent.
Isaac Chatman, 2018 SF, Alabama Premier: The 6'6" Alabama native has a world of upside at his fingertips. Right now, he's at his best when attacking the rim and finishing around and/or above the defense. Once his jump shot becomes consistent, you'll have one of the most lethal prospects in the entire southeast.
Stan Scott, 2017 SG, Liberty Elite: One of the most electrifying athletes in attendance, the Williamsport (PA) product isn't just all bounce. The 6'2' southpaw has excellent body control and knows how to finish in the air around the rim. He's especially dangerous in transition. College coaches should be keeping tabs on him this summer.
Jalen Carey, 2018 G, New Jersey Playaz: One of the most sought-after guards in the state of New Jersey, the 6'2" combo oozes confidence on the floor. He did most of his damage when attacking the rim in Pittsburgh, but has proven that his jump shot can be lethal as well. A surefire high-major target already, at an early stage in his high school career.
Deshawn Millington, 2017 PG, Team Final Red: One of the most slept on guards in the state of Pennsylvania, the Carlisle High School product is coming off an outstanding junior season in which he was named 3rd team all-state in AAAA. His strong play continued in Pittsburgh, where he showcased his speed off the dribble, as well as his excellent scoring ability.
Drew Friberg, 2018 SF, Team Takeover Black: Playing on a roster loaded with high-major division one talent, the State College (PA) sophomore was the long range sniper. Not only does he have an excellent jump shot, but has good size for the wing at 6'5". He should be closely monitored as this spring and summer unfold.
Sean Good, 2018 PF, Team Final Blue: At 6'10", rebounding and shot-blocking are where the Trinity (PA) big man thrives at this stage of his career. However, he showed flashes of offensive growth as well as improved coordination. Penn State has already offered, but expect several more to trickle in this summer.
Sincere Scott, 2019 PG, Central PA Elite: A hidden gem from the weekend, the 6'2" lead guard has excellent size and length for the position. His court vision and unselfishness made him stand out, and it won't be surprising to see him make a big splash in his sophomore season at Lebanon High School (PA).
Geo Baker, 2017 CG, DC Blue Devils (NH): Baker has boosted his stock in a big way over the past two weeks. Capable of playing either position at 6-foot-3, he is a mismatch nightmare. Baker is also a very talented shooter and it's easy to see why Kansas State and Rutgers offered after the event.
Mike Christmas, 2019 SG, BWSL-Chiz: At 6-foot-5, Christmas has fantastic size for the perimeter and knocked down a number of jumpers throughout the weekend. He is also a decent athlete and finished above the rim on a few occasions as well. Playing up a year, he looked very comfortable and is certainly one to keep an eye on.
Cormac Ryan, 2018 SG, Middlesex Magic: One of the biggest stock boosters of this month, Ryan has come from seemingly nowhere to vaunted high-major recruit. His size and shooting ability make him a dangerous scorer, while his high basketball IQ and unselfishness allowed him to make the right play all weekend long. UVA has been showing a lot of interest as of late, and for good reason.
Josh Creach, 2017 CF, Team TTG: Creach was one of the more entertaining prospects in attendence. He can put the ball on the floor a little bit and is a freak athlete. Creach is also a fantastic rebounder who plays with a toughness that few others can match.
Taylor Funk, 2017 PF, Jersey Shore Warriors: Simply put, if Funk was in Philadelphia or at a bigger program, he would likely be getting high-major looks. A 6-foot-8 stretch-four man, he has the skill and toughness to play on the block or the perimeter. Whoever lands him will be getting a steal.
