Houston, TX (Future150) -- It took two overtime periods, but the Nemesis Crushers brought home the 13U division championship at Future150 Main Event Houston, beating Team Kemistry 59-53 in the most entertaining junior division game of the tournament. Trey Miller led the victors with 20 points, while 6'2" big man Yomi Babalola had 18 points and controlled the paint. For Team Kemistry, Tyler Miller did all he could in a losing effort, scoring 20 points.

Future150 Main Event Houston 13U Standouts:

Nathaniel Murphy, 2022 PG, Nemesis Crushers (TX): The flashiest prospect in the 13U division was the 5'7" point guard, who made dazzling plays throughout the weekend. An electric floor general with a quick first step, he repeatedly made plays around the rim and in transition for his team. And when push came to shove late in the title game, he scored two key baskets in the overtime periods to secure the win.

JaCory Chatman, 2022 PG, Team Kemistry (TX): The 5'7" point guard was relentless with his penetration throughout the weekend. He's a fearless slasher who repeatedly scored around the rim for his team. He also knocked down several jumpers to keep the defense honest, while also making plays for his teammates. On the defensive end, he got into passing lanes and made life difficult for offenses.

Howard Johnson, 2022 SF, Central Texas Bulls Elite (TX): The 5'8" wing had no problem putting up points for his team throughout the weekend, as he was able to score the ball on all three levels with relative ease. He was also an active participant on the glass, securing rebounds on both ends of the floor while defending at a high level.

Tyler Miller, 2022 SG/SF, Team Kemistry (TX): An aggressive and strong wing, he was arguably the most consistent two-way prospect in the division. He had high point totals in each game, thanks to his aggressive slashes and ability to keep the defense honest with his shooting ability. With the playing style of a football player on the hardwood, he's an intimidating presence as soon as the game tips off.

Brandon Porter, 2022 PG, TBT Sports Disciples (TX): The 5'6" floor general was the leader of his team throughout the weekend. While he certainly proved that he is very good at setting his teammates up for easy looks around the rim, he also showed that he can score with relative ease as well, making plays on drives to the rim and when in transition.

Trey Miller, 2022 SG, Nemesis Crushers (TX): The 5'7" wing showcased a flashy handle, a solid arsenal of scoring moves around the rim, and proved to be a standout defender as well. When his jump shot was falling, he was even more impressive to watch, making him a nightmare for defenders. He saved his best work for last, totaling 20 points and leading his team to a championship.

DJ Johnson, 2022 SF, Louisiana Heat Elite (LA): A player who proved that he was easily able to rack up high point totals throughout the weekend, the game we got a chance to see his scoring ability was when he put up 21 points in a loss to Team Kemistry.

Peyton Hale, 2022 PF, Texas Inferno (TX): The big man was a force in the paint for his Texas Inferno group throughout the weekend. He scored with ease around the low block and rebounded the ball on both ends of the floor. While they faced an uphill battle for most of the weekend, Hale did everything he could to keep the Inferno competitve.

Isaiah Barganier, 2022 PF, Elevation Sports (TX): The most skilled big man on his roster, the 6'2" post was a standout all weekend with his scoring ability in the painted area. He rebounded the ball well on both ends of the floor and defended well against attacking guards working around the rim.

George Mena, PG, Texas Elite Warriors (TX): When we watched him play in a blowout win, the guard was scoring with relative ease, getting baskets around the rim at will. He plays the game with good pace and understands how to pick his spots. With his team winning 53-11, he led the charge with 10 points.
