High Point, NC (Future150) -- Michael Hueitt Jr. is a class of 2017 SG that plays for Team CP3 on the Nike EYBL circuit. Hueitt is a 6'3 sharpshooter that uses his long arms on defense to get under his opponents skin and rack up steals and deflections leading to turnovers. He currently holds ten offers from Boston, Hampton, James Madison, Middle Tennessee, Missouri, and Yale among others.

Lately, Hueitt has seen a handful of high major schools really start to stay on his trail very closely. Being a rising senior, this usually means the schools are sniffing around to see if they want to extend an offer or not.

"Virginia, Virginia Tech, Florida, Florida State, and Clemson," Hueitt said when speaking on the schools that have been getting in touch with him on a daily basis.

Hueitt certainly has the body type and skill set to excel at the high major level of college basketball as he can do many things when he's on the floor. His role with CP3 has been utilized very well, and could be similar to how he is used at the next level.

"Definitely being a shooter is my main role on this team," Hueitt said. "But I also can be used as a distraction because people know I'm a shooter and I can move around the court on offense to help my other teammates get open."

Being a deadly offensive threat causes opposing teams to use double teams on Hueitt quite often. He has no problem being that distraction player at times to allow his other teammates get open. Unselfish play like this is something that college coaches love to see.

Many think Hueitt is just now scratching the surface of his potential. It will be quite interesting to see how his recruitment and development on the floor plays out during his final year and a half in high school.

Continue to follow along with Future150 as we stay up to date with Hueitt's progress and recruitment trail.
