Charlotte, NC (Future150) -- When the Future150 staff first saw Matthew Fisher-Davis in April, he listed a mere three offers from Mercer, Liberty, and Gardner Webb.
Fast-forward to the beginning of August, and the 2014 Charlotte Christian (NC) sharpshooter has added double-digit offers, including high-major schools.
Because of the new activity, Fisher-Davis has decided to cut his list to a manageable seven schools.
"I am looking at Elon, Georgia, UNC-Wilmington, UNC-Greensboro, Virginia, Vanderbilt, and Wake Forest," he told Future150.com.
The 6-foot-5 wing is eyeing an early decision and to sign in November; first he will take some official visits.
"I am going to visit Vanderbilt, Georgia, Wake Forest, and Virginia in late August and early September."
The scheduled visits line up like this: Vanderbilt (Aug. 28-30), Georgia (Sept. 6-8), Wake Forest (Sept. 13-15), and Virginia (20-22).
With his talent and play, it is important for Fisher-Davis to find the perfect place to showcase his skills. He has a few things he is looking for in his recruitment.
"I want good academics, a place where I am comfortable with the system, a basketball atmosphere around campus, and a place not too far from home," he explained.
What will a school get with Fisher-Davis?
A smooth, knockdown three-point shooter that is a very under-rated passer. He has great vision and will be a perfect player in the right system.
Fisher-Davis is a three-star according to Future150.com.
