Baton Rouge, LA (Future150) -- LSU head coach Johnny Jones may not have proved that he can coach against the best of the SEC just yet, but there is no questioning his prowess on the recruiting trail.
On Thursday, the first year head coach gained his biggest pledge to date by landing hometown star Jarell Martin.
The 6'8", 210-pound Madison Prep (LA) combo forward is one of the premiere talents in the 2013 class, and he will make an immediate impact on the floor next season for the Tigers.
He joins Jordan Mickey and Tim Quarterman as nationally touted 2013 recruits headed to SEC country next year.
