Houston, TX (Future150) -- The 15U title was captured by the Louisiana Rockets at the Future150 Houston Battleground Tournament as they defeated the A.C.S. Warriors! The Rockets featured PG Marquelyn Hicks who dominated all throughout the weekend and should definitely be considered an national depth chart prospect in his class. On the other end 2020 6'3" SG Trey Hartfield had a breakout weekend for the Warriors. After being a standout performer at the Future150 Main Event Houston Tournament, Hartfield proved he was the real deal this weekend.
Future150 Houston Battleground 15U All-Tournament Team:
Marquelyn Hicks, 2020 PG, Louisiana Rockets
Darius McCoy, 2020 CG, Missouri City Ballers

Kamryn Guidry, 2020 PF, Louisiana Rockets
Future150 Houston Battleground 15U Honor Roll:
Trey Hartfield, 2020 SG, A.C.S. Warriors (TX): Hartfield was a big time standout at the Future150 Main Event Houston Tournament, and this weekend was no different. The 6'3" wing guard, was one of the best rebounding guards in the entire tournament and he continues to get better at his outside shot. His length and slashing abiltiies already make him a very tough cover, once he can knock down the long-range jumper with consistency, good luck guarding this young man.
Wylie Holden, 2020 PF, Texas Inferno Red (TX): Standing nearly 6'4", Holden has okay size for the four spot at his age. His high motor and elite finishing abilities is what made him standout anytime he was on the floor. His long and lanky frame indicates that he might have another growth spurt in store. There is a lot of potential and upside to like with Holden.
Kamryn Guidry, 2020 PF, Louisiana Rockets (LA): The 6-foot-7 inch long, lanky prospect played well over the course of the weekend. He was definitely one of the reason the Rockets took home the title. He is a good athlete, blocks shots and rebounds extremely well on both ends of the floor. He has only been playing for 2 years and as his skills start to catch up to his height look out. Solid over all performance on the weekend.
Jaylon Wilson, 2020 PG, Texas Inferno Red (TX): Wilson has improved quite a lot since the last time the Future150 staff got a chance to watch him play. He began the weekend by dropping 22 points in a win over Houston Takeover during pool play, and he continued to be the leading scorer most of the time on his team. His solid size, paired with his improved shooting and ball-handling made him a very tough cover.
Kamsi Emegwa, 2020 F/C, Houston Takeover (TX): At 6'1", Emegwa is definitely undersized for a post at this age but his ability to stretch out the defense beyond the arc and control the glass on both ends is what made him so valuable to his team. Heading into his sophomore year, it would be in his best interest to try and convert to the wing position, especially if he grows a few more inches.
Marquelyn Hicks, 2020 PG, Louisiana Rockets (LA): One of the most talented and dynamic point guards in the entire tournament, regardless of age, Hicks was dominant throughout the weekend. His lightning fast first-step and finishing abiltiies made it very tough for any of his defenders to stay in front of him, much less lock him up. Hicks has a very bright future in front of himself!
Ty Palmer, 2020 SG, Houston Showtime (TX): At first glance, you'll notice Palmer's good size and length for a two-guard at his age. Once you see him hit the floor, he will show off his outside shot as well as his crafty finishing abiltiies around the rim. Palmer's high motor and solid scoring abiltiies make him look like a very promising DII/fringe-DI recruit for the future.
Darius McCoy, 2020 CG, Missouri City Ballers (TX): A standout at Future150's Dallas Battleground, McCoy was still on his A-game this weekend. Putting defenders on skates, knocking down shots from way past the three point line, and racking up the assists in transition are just a few things that have impressed the Future150 staff when watching McCoy.
Johnathan Nash, 2020 PG, Texas Inferno Black (TX): Nash's game has exploded since the last time the Future150 staff saw him. He's sprouted up an inch or two, and has brought his offensive game to a whole other level. He was a very tough cover throughout the weekend because of his elite finishing abiltiies and improved long range jumper.
Mason Borque, 2020 CF, Texas Inferno (TX): Borque always shows heart, hustle, and a grind it out-type mentality when he's on the floor. He ended the weekend with a very impressive performance (22 points and 11 boards) in a tough bracket loss to the A.C.S. Warriors. Borque is the type of guy you love to have on your team, because you know he's never not going to give all his effort once he hits the court.
