Miami, FL (Future150) -- Miami graduates four impressive seniors this season, making the 2016 recruiting class an important one. The Hurricanes have been a top-5 program in the ACC under coach Jim Larranaga and this year appears to be no different. Thanks to a stellar recruiting class, it appears that Canes fans can expect more of the same:
Dewan Huell, #19 in Top-150, Norland (FL): Huell has improved greatly in recent months, solidifying himself as a five-star prospect. He is very skilled offensively and has great footwork. Huell is very quick as well, making him a solid shot-blocker and good defender.
Bruce Brown, #32 in Top-150, Vermont Academy (VT): Brown may be the most college-ready player in this group. The 6-foot-3 combo guard is an elite level defender who has improved his point guard skills greatly in the past year. Brown is also a very good slasher and above-average shooter. Overall, his game compliments JaQuan Newton's very well and the two could form a dynamic back court.
Rodney Miller, #103 in Top-150, Oak Hill Academy (NY): The first player to commit to the Canes, Miller will give them a rugged post scorer who competes and grabs a ton of rebounds. He's not a great athlete but makes up with it for with his size. Look for him to be a great four year player.
This group will make a difference from day one not only because they are talented, but because they have to for Miami to be at it's best next year. Brown and Huell project as plug-and-play replacements for Sheldon McCllelan and Ivan Uceda, while Miller will bring depth to the front court. Look at them to have an impact as soon as they set foot on campus.
