College Station, TX (Future150) -- Even though it's a small class, the Aggies have two top 75 prospects heading down to College Station next year. Both are capable of making immediate impacts for head coach Billy Kennedy.
J.J. Caldwell, #56 in top-150, Cypress Woods, TX: Caldwell is a strong bodied lead guard at about 6'0 and 180 pounds. He is very physical and isn't afriad of any contact. He has a quick first step off the dribble that allows him to get into the lane with ease, along with a smooth jumper from outside. The most impressive aspect of his game though may be his high basketball IQ when leading a team down the floor.
Robert Williams, #71 in top-150, North Caddo, LA: With Elijah Thomas transferring to Clemson, Williams may have a bigger oppurtunity and impact his freshman season that what most people thought. Williams is an uber athletic power forward that plays above the rim on both ends of the floor. Soaring above the rim for dunks on one end, and getting his head at rim level blocking shots on the other end. Williams is certianly a fun player to watch and can make some highlight clips in no time at all. Once his offense catches up to his elite level of defense.... look out.
Overall, both of these players should have a pretty big impact on the program and both have the potential to be all-conference type players if they reach their potential.
