Syracuse, NY (Future150) -- When it comes to recruiting classes, who a schools adds is just as important as how many players they add. In Syracuse's case, they knocked this recruiting class out of the park.

Originally, there were only two available scholarships for 2016, but now a third has opened up.  With that in mind, Future150 takes a look at the two Orange commits, and the main target still on the board:

Tyus Battle, #25 in Top-150, St. Joseph's Metuchen (NJ): A talented scorer, Battle has shown the ability to play on the ball a bit this season. While he is going to be best used off the ball at the start of his career, Battle could eventually develop the same way Michael Gbinjie has in his time at Syracuse. While the latter has played point guard mostly due to need, the idea of having Battle's 6-foot-5 frame at the top of the zone and someone just as big next to him may be very intriguing to the Orange staff.

Matt Moyer, #37 in Top-150, South Kent (CT): Moyer is the type of forward who has found success under Boeheim and the Orange in the past. He can face up and attack or score on the block. Moyer is a monster roaming the baseline and will become a fan favorite early thanks to his athleticism. Moyer also has a 6-foot-11 wingspan, making him another dangerous weapon in the zone.

One More?: Taurean Thompson has taken his game to another level at Brewster Academy (NH) this season, and has emerged as a high-major big man. His speed and defensive ability make him a good fit for the Orange, who are looking to fight off the likes of Seton Hall and Providence for his services. Time will tell if he ends up a member of the Orange or not.

In the end, Battle give the Orange more perimeter depth and makes up for the graduation of Trevor Cooney. Moyer gives the Orange another big body who can play on the perimeter or on the block. Both will be ready to go from day one.
