Tuscaloosa, AL (Future150) -- Alabama has long been a powerhouse on the football field. Now, new head coach Avery Johnson is counting on a talented 2016 class to turn the Tide's fortunes on the hardwood around as well:

Terrance Ferguson, #10 in Top-150, Advanced Prep International (TX): Ferguson is as naturally talented as any player in the class of 2016 and will bring a scoring punch to the roster immeditely. The big question about Ferguson is his motor, as he has a tendacy to fade into the pack. That being said, Johnson will get the most out of the Dallas native.

Braxton Key, #45 in Top-150, Oak Hill Academy (VA): Key projects as a stretch-four at the next level, and could provide matchup issues in the SEC. He is strong enough and quick enough to guard multiple positions. Perhaps the best part of Key's game is that he finds his role within the team and plays it to near perfection.

Ar'Mond Davis is a talented shooting guard coming out of the JuCo ranks that will also make an impact with his scoring. Future150 does not rank JuCo players, but most major services who do rank him as a four-star recruit.

What's Next?:

While there was plenty of talk about the Tide potentially landing Marques Bolden to close out this group, that appears to be a long shot at this point. That being said, the Tide have also made strides in their pursuit of big man Bruno Fernando, who looks poised for a bump in our next rankings update. With one scholarship left, it is clear that the Crimson Tide want to close this group out with a big man, and while landing Bolden would be fantastic, Fernando appears to be the more realistic option.
