Winston Salem, NC (Future150) -- 2012 Future150 Camp All-American Kwinton Hinson destroyed the competition in the state of North Carolina last season as a sophomore. After moving from Las Vegas, he set the state ablaze to the tune of 19 points and 10.1 rebounds per game for his Fairmont (NC) squad.
In his inaguaral season in the state, he led his team to NCHSAA 2-A Eastern Regional final, was named Three Rivers 1-A/2-A Conference Player of the Year, and was awarded NCBCA All-District 4 honors.
However, despite all his efforts, he still wasn't getting the kind of division one attention that the 6-foot-4 wing deserved.
In search of more competition, a national schedule, and a good academic situation, Hinson made the move to Quality Education Academy (NC) for his junior season, a move that is already paying off.
The #119 prospect nationally in his class, Hinson is receiving interest from several high major schools, which should turn to offers after a full season for QEA.
The strong lefty is an excellent rebounding wing who knows how to score the basketball when attacking the rim. His court vision is an underrated aspect of his game, which allows him to play with the ball in his hands for stretches.
