Philadelphia, PA (Future150) -- Over the weekend Villanova landed their first commitment in the class of 2013 in Gonzaga forward Kris Jenkins.
Although he stands at just 6-foot-6, he is a very effective combo forward. His ability to shoot from the high post and three point line make him a potential matchup problem in the Big East.
Jenkins had visited Villanova last sunday and liked enough of what he saw to pull the trigger and join the Wildcats. Xavier, Clemson, Rutgers, and Miami were all heavily involved as well.
So where will Villanova turn their attention to next? The Harrison twins are a safe bet as they plan on visiting Villanova. The Wildcats are also targeting forwards Chinonso Obokoh and Akoy Agau as power forward Mouph Yarou's eligability is set to expire after this season.
