Atlanta, GA (Future150) -- The City of Atlanta has a long history of producing top-tier talent. While there are a number of players who project as high-majors in the city right now, one 2018 talent is proving that he may be the top player in the city in his class.
Khavon Moore has an intriguing skill set, and at 6-foot-7, he is fantastic size for the perimeter. He is a natural scorer who can either shoot it from the mid-range or get to the rim and attack. He is also a very good passer and is willing to get his teammates involved.
This July, Auburn tracked him closely, with Bruce Pearl catching a few games.
"It feels good to know Coach Pearl is out here watching me," he said after one early morning game.
The Tigers are one of two programs to offer the point-forward, with Troy being the other.
"I hope that schools like Duke and Kentucky end up recruiting me down the line," said Moore.
The next step in his development will be to improve his shooting ability. He will also need to get stronger and prove he can be a big time defender. He has the tools to be a five star recruit and one of the most sought after players in his class. Look for him to continue to prove that this season.
