North Augusta, SC (Future150) -- Khadeem Lattin is going to have some big decisions to make in the next couple of months. Like his fellow teammates, he has to figure out where he will attend college.
However, the question may be more of when instead of where.
Because he spent a year overseas, the the 6-foot-9 big man has the unique ability to be a member of 2013 or 2014.
“I spent a year overseas, and I have all of my credits. I could graduate this year if I want,” he explained. “I’m leaning towards my original class, 2014, though. But 2013 isn’t bad either.”
Development is going to be a big part of Lattin’s future. While he is still very talented, there is a lot of room to grow for the big man.
“I run, I block shots, I rebound. That’s what I do well right now,” he smiled.
A member of Houston Hoops, Lattin has many of talented teammates, most of which are guards and wings. He has been working on his guard skills, but it is tough with so many talented players.
“I’m working on developing my 3 skills. But it’s hard to show it out here in games with all these talented guys. I just play where I can.”
Several schools have Lattin on their radar to this point. Georgetown, Arizona, Memphis, Texas, Texas A&M, and Baylor are among the schools in the picture now.
When asked if any schools are sticking out, Lattin had this to say:
“Well, Arizona and Baylor have offered me for both 2013 and 2014. I like that, but in the end, it just depends on who I think can develop me the best.”
