Las Vegas, NV (Future150) -- Prior to and during the early Signing Period, Kentucky missed out on some of their wing targets, including Stanley Johnson, Kelly Oubre, and James Blackmon.
Now, it looks like John Calipari and his staff are turning their interests to an old target in Rashad Vaughn.
UK assistant Orlando Antigua stopped by Findlay Prep to see Vaughn on Tuesday, according to assistant coach Pete Kaffey.
Kentucky's renewed interest presumably puts them back with Iowa State and UNLV, but there is a lot of ground to make up. North Carolina has also kept tabs on the star shooting guard, as he has an official visit lined up for February 12th.
The 6-foot-5 shooting guard is the best perimeter player remaining in the 2014 class, and the second best player overall behind Myles Turner.
Vaughn is ranked No. 12 in the 2014 Future150 rankings.
