Atlanta, GA (Future150) -- 2017 G/F Ken Stanciel of God's Property (GA) had a huge weekend at the Future150 Main Event Atlanta Tournament, leading his squad to the 17U Gold Division title while racking up multiple 25+ point games throughout the weekend.

At 6'3", he has decent size on the wing, but what separated him from opposing players was his strength, athleticism, and fantastic leadership on the court. He was the obvious vocal leader of his team and was always pulling his teammates together and getting their head back in the game if the other team went on a run.

Stanciel has the looks of a fantastic DII/NAIA prospect that a coach would love to have due to his knowledge and leadership, as well as his fantastic scoring and playmaking abilities.

"This (summer) I want to get my name out to a lot of other college basketball coaches," Stanciel said. "And show them that I'm more than just an energy guy, even though that is my best quality."

As of now, he has an offer from Bridgewater College, a DIII school in Virginia and has strong interest from DII programs like Truett-McConnell, and Queens College out of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Stanciel is off to a great start this AAU season, and is definitely deserving of some extended looks from some programs on the DII and NAIA levels. We always enjoy seeing a few late bloomers come through the Future150 tournaments, especially ones that wind up becoming a very valuable player for a college team down the road. Stanciel could be next in line.
