Charlotte, NC (Future150) -- Kennedy Meeks had a very steady summer with Team United (NC) on the AAU circuit, but now he is turning towards his recruitment and the high school season.
Meeks, a 6-foot-8 big man out of Charlotte, is one of the more coveted big men in the Class of 2013. With that being said, many schools have been tracking him.
“I would say NC State, Georgetown, and Louisville are recruiting me the hardest,” Meeks told Future150.com. “But I’m also hearing from Kentucky, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, and everyone else in the ACC but Duke.”
Despite having dozens of schools pursuing him, the rising senior is in no hurry to cut his list or take visits.
“I haven’t really thought about any visits yet, but I have to look into it soon. I have nothing planned, though.”
Meeks’ mindset for a decision is the same way, too.
“It’s just whenever I feel like I’m ready. I have no idea when it will be, so I don’t have a set time or anything,” he explained.
