Atlanta, GA (Future150) -- No matter what level of competition, averaging 20 points and six assists a game at the high school ranks is very impressive. Just ask the endless amount of schools recruiting Keith Pinckney, Jr.

Pinckney, a 6-foot point guard, has had many schools on him for quite some time. At this point, he holds one offer from the Miami Hurricanes.

South Carolina, Clemson, George Mason, Stanford, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Georgia State, Wake Forest, Tennessee, Davidson, and Oregon State, along with many other schools, are after the 2014 South Carolina product, too.

With all these great schools, someone has to stick out, right?

“At this time no schools are sticking out,” Pinckney said firmly. “But I do like the fact that all of the schools have recognized my talents.”

Pinckney is playing with the Georgia Stars 16U team, where he has to bring his A-game every day to represent the Nike team he plays for. As a point guard, his skill-set is very impressive.

“I would say my biggest strength is being a complete player. I also can get my own shot, and I have good court vision. I compare myself to Chris Paul and Brandon Jennings respectively.”

Pinckney has only visited Clemson and South Carolina thus far, but he does insist he will take more visits during the summer. On those visits, he hopes to find some answers to his questions.

“I want a good academic environment as far as the school is concerned, but for basketball, I would like an up-tempo style of play with a lot of dribble-drives and three-pointers. I also want a place where I can become a better student athlete."

Hey, I saw Pinckney play! This kid has excellent ball handling skills and can flat shoot the trey ball. Saw him drain 8 treys while dropping in 39 pts in one game and 33 in another.  Just learned that he started every game at Pinewood Prep as Fresh and Soph totaling 1000 pts in just two seasons.  Looks like a good one!  Surprise he is not ranked. If there is a better PG in class of 2014, I want to see him.
