Manhattan, KS (Future150) -- Marcus Foster had a strong summer, starting off at Rumble in the Bronx in the beginning of June. His ability to shoot the ball drew interest from the likes of SMU, Creighton, Oklahoma, TCU, and Kansas State.
In the end it was the Wildcats of Kansas State that won out for Foster's services. Bruce Weber made Foster one of his priorities and it paid off, it was obvious that the Wildcats where in the drivers seat throughout the summer.
Foster can also get to the rim and has improved on defense. He will fit into K-State's system well and should be a good 4 year player for them. His AAU teammate Jeffery Carroll is also considering Kansas State so it will be interesting to see if Foster can convince him to join him in Manhattan.
Look for the Wildcats to turn their recruiting efforts to the front court, specifically Junior Etou and Matt Atewe. Both hard hard nosed big men who like to mix it up down low and play defense.
