Dallas, TX (Future150) -- The K-Town All-Stars (TX), led by Cortez Ivie and Trayvon Todd defeated the Elite Academy Ducks in the 16U title game. Ivie was highly impressive all weekend running the offense and dropping dimes. While Todd was keeping the crowds entertained with his freakish athleticism. The Ducks benefited from a huge weekend from PF JB Mukeba who definitely showed that he has some division one potential.

Future150 Dallas Battleground All-Tournament Team:

Cortez Ivie, 2019 PG, K-Town All-Stars
Aaron Brown, 2019 SG, Team Overtime
Ronnie Sanders, 2019 G/F, Team DUCE
Jshun Davis, 2018 SF, NTX Hawks
JB Mubeka, 2019 PF, Elite Academy Ducks

Future150 Dallas Battleground 16U Honor Roll:

Jshun Davis, 2018 SF, NTX Hawks (TX): A power wing at 6'4", the muscular prospect showed that he can score on all three levels, using an excellent blend of force and skill. He thrives on physical play, but surprised with his skill level, including his ball skills and shooting ability. On the defensive end, he also locked up, including guarding much bigger prospects because of his sheer size.

JB Mukeba, 2019 PF, Elite Academy Ducks (TX): Standing 6'8" and playing with a high motor, it's easy to like the rising junior. He proved to be an effective defender because of his length, and also was active on the glass on both offense and defense. While he needs to gain strength, he did show that he can be an effective finisher around the rim with very good athleticism.

Raquon Travis, 2019 PF, Pacers Elite (TX): Travis is a bit undersized at the four spot standing around 6'5", but his work horse mentality and high motor allowed him to dominate the glass and score down low against weaker defenders. He was impressive on the defensive end, being able to guard multple positions with his agility and foot speed.

Ronnie Sanders, 2019 SG, Team DUCE (TX): Sanders has great size and strength for a two guard at 6'3", and was scoring from all three levels on a consistent basis throughout the weekend. He definitely has some upside and is a very intriguing prospect. Depending on his growth and development over the next six months, he could turn into a solid D2/low-major prospect.

Donovan Souter, 2019 SG, Xpress Hoops (TX): One of the best rebounding guards in the 16U division, Souter impressed with his length, motor, and high basketball IQ. He used his long arms to score over the top of the defense when slashing to the rim, and also showed he was capable of knocking down the jumper off the catch and bounce. Another intriguing scoring guard prospect from the 16U division.

Cortez Ivie, 2019 PG, K-Town All-Stars (TX): Standing just over 5'6", Ivie definitely isn't the most physical imposing lead guard. His basketball IQ, court vision, and overall lead guard skills is what made him one of the best PG's in the 16U division this weekend. He always knows when and what pass to make, and also knows when it's a good time for him to slash the lane or shoot the ball. Rarely turning the ball over, Ivie was without a doubt one of the main reasons K-Town took home the 16U title.

Aaron Brown, 2019 SG, Team Overtime (TX): Brown was a fantastic rebounder and a blur in transition. His upper-body strength allowed him to finish through contact on a consistent basis, and he also showed that he was more than capable of knocking down a jumper from mid-range or from beyond the arc. It will be interesting to see how he grows and develops over the next year as he definitely has the potential to be a low-major prospect, but for now he's safely in the DII/NAIA range.

MJ Robinson2019 SG, Tarrant County Hornets (TX): The small, heady guard was scoring the ball at a high level all weekend. He can stroke the ball from way beyond the three point line, and loves to slash the lane and get the defense into foul trouble. Standing at 5'7", he doesn't have the best size, but he didn't back down from anyone and could turn out to be a solid DIII/JUCO.
