Birmingham, AL (Future150) -- Justin Coleman has been a primary target for Alabama for over a year now. After a long summer, the Tide's priority payed off with the point guard's commitment.
The 5-foot-10 playmaker made his verbal commitment to Alabama on Wednesday.
"It's the best school for me," he told Future150.com. "I love the style of play and the coaches."
A four-star point guard and ranked No. 84 overall in the 2014 Future150 rankings, Coleman is the first commitment for the Tide in the class.
The rising senior chose Alabama over Auburn, Arkansas, UAB, along with others.
The attention now turns to William Lee, another in-state player, for Anthony Grant and his staff.
Comments:
He probably will start as a freshman. He is just that good! Glad to see he is staying in the state of Alabama, no matter which school he chose. I hope the other top players do the same.
Great pick up for Bama!
Riley Norris too!
Now on to William Lee.
