Atlanta, GA (Future150) -- Jorden Williams is still without a basketball scholarship, but after attending a Future150 camp this fall that could all change. Williams impressed with his shooting ability as well as his ability to run the point guard position. He feels that he will play the point in college due to being just 6-foot-1.
Williams described his camp experience as such: "It was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a camp. They didn't have favorites and you had to play hard or you wouldn't get recognized.
It made players from all over play as a unit when they didn't know each other. The competition was the best in the southeast. Going against guys like Evan Payne, Nino Jackson, and Rob Marberry, it made me step my game up and set the tone for this school year."
Williams hopes to make first team all-state as well as average 20 points, 5 assists, and 5 steals. While he is currently hearing from both Bryan College and Lee University, he hopes to hear from schools such as Grambling, Vermont, Pepperdine, and UT-Martin among other programs.
If Williams can turn in a strong senior year he could end up at one of those programs.
