Houston, TX (Future150) -- Over the past few months, 2012 Future150 Camp All-American Jojo Anderson has seen a surge in his recruitment, most recently with an offer from the New Mexico Lobos.

"I really don't know much about their program, but I've heard some great things. I know they're a good team and I heard they have a crazy gym. I have talked to a couple coaches and they seem pretty cool," he recently told Future150.

The New Mexico offer comes on the heels of scholarship offers from Rice, Houston, Texas A&M, Auburn, and Nebraska.

Kansas State, Creighton, West Virginia, Harvard, Stanford, and Oklahoma are all pursuing the talented 6-foot-3 point guard as well.

If you want to know more about Jojo's style of play, he has a pretty good grip on what he brings to the table as a player.

"I'm a long guard who has great court vision. I can score the ball when I need to, but I'm a pass-first type of guard. I can be flashy but at the same time I know when I have to grind it out," he told me.

With the July "live period" coming up quick, the Houston Hoops guard is ready for more attention from college programs.

As for next school year, the Houston, Texas native will be playing at La Lumiere School in Indiana.

"Once I'm there, I'm looking to get noticed as one of the best point guards in the country. I also want to get looks from colleges in that part of the country. At the end of the school year, I want my team to be the talk of the country. I want my coaches to help me get ready for the next level."
