Atlanta, GA (Future150) -- Since the end of July, players have been resting their legs and regaining strength for the upcoming basketball season. Nevertheless, kids are still active with their travels.
Jeshua Kidd, a 2013 forward out of Jefferson (GA), has had a very busy September. Between working on his game and attending camps, the senior has been checking out college campuses.
“I was at Newberry College the 11th,” he noted. “I had a chance to play with the team and workout.”
Despite being a senior, Kidd probably didn’t stick out too much amongst his elders as far as size and skills go. At this point in his career, the 6-foot-1 wing already has a college-ready body.
“I also took an official visit to Piedmont on the 17th, and then I was at Georgia last weekend.”
More visits could come in the future for Kidd, as several other schools are interested in his game.
Gardner Webb, Young Harris, and Wingate College are among the other schools showing interest in the Georgia native.
However, before he moves on to college, there are some things he would like to accomplish in high school.
“I know I need to work on some stuff, but I need to get to the basket more. But overall, I just want to show everyone I can play. That’s all that matters.”
Don’t be surprised if you catch Kidd on more campuses in the next few months.
