Combs, a 6-foot-6 forward out of Dallas (Tex.) Carter, gave North Texas his commitment Monday afternoon.
In the end, the Mean Green offered senior the full winning package.
"I felt like North Texas was a great fit," Combs told Future150.com. "I like where the program is going, and I feel like the program wants to win."
A high-upside player, Combs' best playing days are ahead of him. As he continues to develop his skills and game, he could be a huge steal for North Texas.
