Charlottesville, VA (Future150) -- It has been a successful past few weeks for 2015 Wheeler (Ga.) forward Jaylen Brown. Between AAU season and summer camps, he is becoming one of the more popular players in his class.

Prior to arriving at the NBPA Top 100 Camp in Charlottesville, Va., Brown was in St. Louis for the Nike Elite 100.

“I think I played really well out there at the Nike Elite 100. I’m hoping it carries over this week, too,” he told Future150.com.

After the first session of camp, the 6-foot-6 wing man did not disappoint. He spent the morning scoring in a variety of ways, especially getting to the rim and running in transition.

“I fit the style of getting out and running. There are a lot of schools that are recruiting me that like to play that way, but Florida and Kansas, they get out and run really well.”

The rising junior also noted he likes how NC State plays under Mark Gottfried, as well as Louisville. He spoke very highly of the reigning national champions:

“I’m a winner. They just won a championship, so how can you not like Louisville? I like their program.”

Over the past year, Brown has taken several unofficial visits, including visits to Tennessee, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and NC State. He hopes to make a couple of more visits in the future, too.

“I would like to take a visit to Kansas. It’s far away, but I would also like to get out to Arizona for a visit sometime,” he explained.

Brown will go up in the next rankings, but he currently comes in at No. 30 in the 2015 Future150 rankings.
