Indianapolis, IN (Future150) -- The 2014 class is shaping up to be one of the strongest in recent memory and the fact that Idrissa Diallo has yet to crack our top 150 is proof of that. The rising junior is already a monster on the boards and on the defensive end of the floor. His offensive game needs work but is improving, and he runs the floor like a deer.
While Diallo has yet to be brought into the national spotlight, high-major programs have done their homework on the big. Virginia Tech and USC have already offered him a scholarship while Washington State, Marquette, Arizona and UNLV are all keeping tabs on him.
In addition to being a big time shot blocker on the court, Diallo excels off the court as well. He claimed a 3.8 GPA this summer. It will be interesting to see if a program like Vanderbilt or Harvard starts recruiting him sooner rather than later. Diallo said he was looking for good academics and a winning program.
Look for Diallo to continue his rise this season and into next AAU season. He will be one of the most sought after big men on the west coast.
