Houston, TX (Future150) -- Houston Future150 Camp capped off its record breaking weekend with a ton of firepower in the Top 20 All-Star game, where Dominic Magee was named MVP of the contest. Here are 10 prospects who stood out most over the course of the weekend...
Jordan Green, 2014 CG: The 6-foot-2 West Brook High School (TX) standout had an impressive weekend. He is a combo guard who will be able to play both guard positions at the next level. He gets from one end of the court to the other with impressive speed. He is also a capable scorer and good athlete. Very productive kid.
Christian Thompson, 2015 SG: The Dutchtown High School (LA) wing has flown under the radar nationally...until now. He's a 6-foot-4 shooting guard who is built to score. He has a college-ready frame and his jump shot is picture perfect. He definitely has the look of a mid-major to high major prospect right now.
Juwan Williams, 2015 SF: The most impressive looking prospect in terms of physical appearance was the Fort Bend Travis High School (TX) wing. He's a 6-foot-5 explosive athlete who can develop into a powerful college wing as well as a lockdown defender at the next level.
De'Aaron Fox, 2016 PG: Coming into the camp, De'Aaron was ranked as the #10 prospect nationally in his class. After the weekend was through, he left as a fringe top 5 prospect. He has all the tools to become a special point guard and what is most impressive about him is that he gives 110% every time he steps onto the floor.
Daniel Utomi, 2015 SF: The 6-foot-6 combination forward is more of a post prospect right now, and that's fine. He has an endless motor which he uses to rebound the basketball at a high rate on both ends of the floor. He is also an explosive athlete who finishes well at the rim, several times finishing above the rim.
Bryson Lockley, 2015 CF: The 6-foot-8 Houston Hoops forward is one of the most versatile prospects nationally in his class. He can bang in the post, scoring around the rim with both hands. However, he also can knock down shots with consistently all the way out to 23 feet. High upside prospect.
Dominic Magee, 2014 PG: The 6-foot-4 lead guard capped off his MVP performance at camp by knocking down a contested three-pointer to seal the victory for his team in the closing seconds of the all-star game. The explosive New Orleans native is one of the most coveted guards in the country, with Kansas State offering him yesterday.
Damien Sears, 2016 SF: The 6-foot-4 small forward is another versatile forward who is developing well on offense. He can bang in the post, play above the rim using his physical frame, or step out and knock down jumpers out to 15 feet consistently. He will definitely be a player to watch going forward.
Paul Thomas, 2015 CF: The other half of Houston Hoops versatile twin tower frontcourt is the 6-foot-8 Summercreek High School (TX) product. He can score on all three levels and loves to rebound the basketball and start the fast break. He oozes upside and is improving immensely.
Andres Villalobos, 2015 PG: One of the surprise performers of the weekend was the Seven Lakes High School (TX) point guard. He is a crafty ball-handler who has excellent speed on the floor. He can score the basketball or run his team, whichever you prefer. Emerging as one of the best floor generals in the Houston area.
