Cullman, AL (Future150) -- Senior guard Elijah Garrison is experiencing a new type of feeling on the basketball court this season. Instead of being surrounded by scorers and facilitating in the offense like prior years, he has to facilitate for himself and others with his Fairview (Ala.) team.

With help from AAU basketball and a couple of Future150 camps, the 6-foot-3 combo guard is drawing interest from a host of strong Division II and NAIA schools.

“Alabama-Huntsville, Dallas Baptist, LaGrange, Shorter, Lenoir-Rhyne, University of Illinois-Springfield, and Truett-McConnell are all recruiting me,” Garrison informed Future150.com.

He recently visited Shorter to take in a game, but he also plans to attend take a couple of other visits soon.

“Elijah will also visit UAH and LaGrange,” according to his father, Derek.

With his high basketball IQ and understanding of the game, Garrison is putting together a successful season thus far. At the Christmas break, he is averaging 19 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

For D2 and NAIA schools looking for a player with good academics and a solid fundamental game, be sure to check out this unsigned senior.
