Brunswick, GA (Future150) -- The Brunswick High School (GA) Pirates are off to a fast start this season, beginning the year with a 5-0 record to date.

One of the main reasons behind this fast start has been the play of Future150 Alum Roger Davis The 6'5", 180-pound wing-forward is adjusting to playing mostly frontcourt minutes for his team, but is doing a wonderful job.

Currently, he is averaging seven points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three blocks per game, showing the diversity in his overall game.

He is an excellent shot-blocker who has natural instincts and possesses great timing on his blocks, something not many high school kids can say they have.

As of right now, Eckerd College, College of Coastal Georgia, Columbus State, and West Texas A&M have all shown significant interest in the sophomore, who is only going to get more serious looks as he continues to develop his shooting guard skills.

For right now, he is only concerened with the success of himself and his team, as he told Future150.

"I want to continue to grow as a person and a player. To grow into a leader, someone my teammates can believe in. I would like to start at two guard with my brother Michale Davis Jr. starting at point. I would like for us to be All-Region. We both know about sacrifice and dedication since we put up at least 1,000 made shots a week during the summer."

As for the ever-important spring/summer AAU season, Roger had this to say about his 2014 travel season.

"I want to be able to play some point guard. I will focus on the defensive side of the ball as well. I will try to get at least four steals a game and at least seven assists.I want to be known as a player. I do not want to classed as a 1,2,3,4,5. I think I could be more of an asset to a college program if I could do more things in the offense. I am also looking forward to the events such as the Future150 Main Event, Ice Breaker, King James ,Peach State, the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions, and several other big name events."

He also went on to say this about his experience at the Future150 Atlanta Camp from this year. "It was great! I got to meet a lot of great instructors. I got to play against some of the top kids in the country. My brother and I will definitely attend the upcoming Future150 events."

Check back to Future150 on the continuing development of Roger Davis as he goes through the remainder of his sophomore season!
