Clemson, SC (Future150) -- At 6-foot-10 and 280-pounds, Elbert Robinson is a huge prospect. With his unbelievable size, along with his pure strength and skill, it is easy to see why the 2014 Centennial (Tex.) big man is being tracked by several high-major programs to open up the live period.
Assistants from Georgia and Ohio State were front and center for both LBA Dallas Seawolves’ games on Saturday at Big Shots Clemson. Their interest is noted.
“Yes, I saw them,” Robinson told Future150.com. “They just wanted to come out and see what I can do.”
The Dallas native is also drawing interest from Kansas, Georgetown, Kansas State, and Texas, among a handful of other schools.
Schools don’t have much more time to make an impression on Robinson and his camp, as he expects to cut his list down very soon.
“Nobody is sticking out right now, but I will cut my list down to six schools soon. I’m looking at the end of May,” he explained.
Robinson also acknowledged that he will have an early fall decision.
With Ohio State and Georgia both making impressions during the first live period, one has to feel good about their chances going forward.
Robinson is a four-star according to Future150 and comes in at No. 88 in the 2014 Future150 rankings.
