Birmingham, AL (Future150) -- The Future150 Birmingham Main Event is annually one of the top tournaments in the Southeast in the month of May. This year's 16U group was especially loaded, as it seemed as though Da House and Team Penny were on a collision course for the finals.

The Attucks Wolfpack had different plans though, as they knocked off both teams and took home the championship. Led by combo guard Jalen Johnson, the Wolfpack's pressing style let him come out on top.

Johnson proved he can play either guard position in the process. He scored over 20 points on three seperate occasions, and ran point guard at times as well.

"Normally, I play point guard, but with this team I play more off the bal, I work on my point guard skills and that's what I want to play in college," Johnson said of his game.

The Hopkinsville product already holds an offer from WKU, while Xavier, Oklahoma and Louisville have all begun to keep tabs on him as well.

At 6-foot-2, he has good size to play either position. It will be interesting to see who else gets involved next month when schools will be able to contact him directly. If he plays in the live periods the way he did at Birmingham Main Event, more offers will surely follow.
