New York, NY (Future150) -- One of the biggest sleepers in the class of 2015 has to be big man God’s Power Ogide. The City Rocks Center is a massive player at 6-foot-10 , 265 pounds.  He has great hands and finishes around the rim with ease. “GP” is a throwback big man who played this past season at Bishop Kearny (NY) with fellow 2015 classmate Thomas Bryant.  Along with Bryant, Ogide helped bring a state title to his school. The native Nigerian carries his state ring with him wherever he goes; including AAU events.

“It was great winning the state title, it shows how much I have learned as a player,” Ogide said. God’s Power is also a great shot blocker and plays with a never ending motor, he brings a ferocity that most coaches would want from their rim protector. Off of the floor, Ogide is different, it is obvious he is still just a kid. “I watch a lot of cartoons,” he said with a smile.

Still, the combination of production and potential has a few coaches already interested. Buffalo and Temple have offered him, while Syracuse has begun to show interest.  Next season he will transfer to Cushing Academy and join forces with guards Kaleb Joseph and Jalen Adams. Expect God’s Power’s stock to begin to take off this summer and into the high school season.
