Dallas, TX (Future150) -- The Gladiators (TX) came to the 2018 Future150 DFW Spring Showcase as the youngest team in the tournament, fielding a team of fourth and fifth graders playing in the 12U division. That didn't stop them from winning the tournament championship, ousting Apex Elite (TX) by a score of 59-32. Throughout the tournament, they were led by 2026 PG Jaelon Germany and 2025 post Demarious 'DJ' Johnson.

Future150 DFW Spring Showcase Honor Roll List:
Jaelon Germany, 2026 PG, Gladiators (TX): A 4th grader playing up two age levels in the DFW Spring Showcase, he was an impressive floor general for his team, leading them to a championship. He consistently scored 5-8 points per game while getting all his teammates open looks around the rim.
Demarious Johnson, 2025 Post, Gladiators (TX): The big man presence on the championship winning team was the 6-foot 5th grader. He was able to score with ease around the rim, using his long frame to his advantage. He also rebounded the ball well on both ends, and competed on defense, battling older post prospects without letting it affect his play.
Deangelo Ponder, 2023 Post, NTX Slam (TX): The biggest prospect in the division at 6'1", he was the most dominating physical presence in the paint throughout the weekend. He had a few monster offensive performances at the Spring Showcase, showing that he's one of the better post prospect in the area for his age.
Devin Boone, 2024 G, Apex Elite (TX): A guard who loves to push the ball in transition, he was one of the most impressive scoring guards in the division at Future150 DFW Spring Showcase. He consistently was able to scoring 8-10 points per game, being an offensive spark for his team.
Cameron Mennsfield, 2024 G, Victory Academy (TX): A kid who is fearless on the court, he loves to attack the rim and put pressure on defenses with his penetration. He's got good quickness when getting to the rim, and he also has the ability to shoot the ball from the perimeter as well.
Jesus Mendoza, 2024 G, DFW Hawks (TX): Another prospect who uses his quickness to his advantage, he loves to get out in transition and is very good at getting to the rim. The star in the backcourt for his team, he's a kid who has fun playing the game, and doesn't back down on the defensive end, despite his size.
