New York, NY (Future150) -- On Tuesday night, Georgia Tech was able to lock down a wing prospect for their 2018 recruiting cycle. After taking a trip to Atlanta to visit the campus over the weekend, Archbishop Molloy (NY) wing Khalid Moore pledged to the Yellow Jackets, giving them their third commitment in the class.
After investing so much time and effort into elite wing prospect Nassir Little, only to have him pledge to North Carolina a few weeks ago, it was crucial for Josh Pastner and staff to land a credible wing. With the addition of the 6'7" small forward, they did just that. While he isn't quite as polished as Little (very few seniors are), they are getting a high upside prospect who is active around the glass, has good athleticism & loves to slash to the bucket. He's the kind of wing who should thrive at Tech once he adjusts to the college level and dedicates himself to the weight room.
He joins Florida guard Mike DeVoe, a top 50 level prospect who's continually improved over the course of his career, along with quite possibly the wildcard in their class; Kristian Sjolund. The 6'8" wing has an excellent skill set and based on our viewings, has the skills and upside to be a top 100 prospect nationally. Throw in Khalid Moore, and Georgia Tech has put together quite the 2018 class to this point.
