Nashville, TN (Future150) -- The 1st annual Future150 "The Summit" Camp takes place this weekend in Nashville, Tennessee. The camp is an invite only event for elite prospects in the freshman and sophomore classes, and we will be bringing in some of the most talented young prospects from across the country to take place in the camp. Over 20 different states will be represented at The Summit. Here is a preview of some of the talent taking part in the event this weekend...
The state of Louisiana will be represented in the form of 2017 point man Lamont Berzat of Landry Walker High School (LA). The 5-foot-8 floor general is a dazzling scorer who plays with fiery emotion each and every time he takes the floor. Think of him as a younger version of national sensation Damontrae Jefferson.
Two of the premier prospects in the state of Georgia's 2017 class will be in attendance as well. Greenforest Christian Academy point guard Luis Hurtado will be causing problems for defenses all weekend with his court vision, size & feel for the game. The 6-foot-4 product of Venezuela is looking to have a big weekend at camp.
Perhaps the most athletic prospect in attendance will be his high school and AAU teammate, Victor Enoh. The 6-foot-7 power forward is as explosive as they come. He will be a force on the defensive end as a rim protector and will finish anything he gets his hands on around the rim.
Taylor County (KY) 2016 guard Quentin Goodin will be causing chaos for campers all weekend with his scoring ability. The 6-foot-2 combo guard currently has offers from Vanderbilt, Kansas State, Tennessee, Indiana, Oklahoma State, West Virginia, and several others.
Another Kentucky prospect set to take his game national is Apollo High School 6-foot-5 shooting guard Eli Wright. Already fielding interest from the likes of Louisville, Purdue & Indiana, his stock should continue to rise after a big weekend at camp.
Columbus (OH) small forward Seth Towns will prove to be a matchup nightmare for opposing campers this weekend. The 6-foot-8 wing can play inside and outside and already holds offers from Xavier, Dayton, Ohio & Air Force as a sophomore.
The next big star to come out of Baltimore may just be St. Frances (MD) wing Melo Eggleston. The 6-foot-7 small forward has been rapidly improving over the past year and could be due for a gigantic weekend against high level competition.
Two names to keep an eye on this weekend as potential sleepers are Kentucky point guard Connor Wilson and Missouri shooting guard Xavier Womack. Wilson is a pass first point guard who has a sky high IQ. Womack is an athletic wing who knows how to score the basketball.
