Baton Rouge, LA (Future150) -- Friday night can be considered the first big win at Georgetown for head coach Patrick Ewing, as he landed a commitment from 2018 Madison Prep (LA) forward Josh LeBlanc.
The versatile 6'7" combo forward and Future150 alumnus has been a name in recruiting circles since middle school, when he was pegged as a future high-major player by our staff. Over the first few years of his high school career, nagging injuries slowed down his progress, but the tools remained evident.
Once healthy again this AAU season, he exploded with standout performances on the Under Armour Circuit with his Louisiana Elite program, as well as at NBA Top 100 Camp, showing his ability as an elite defensive player and improved offensive skills.
Possessing a 7-foot wingspan and a an 8'9.5" standing reach, he has the measurables to become a standout at Georgetown, provided he continues to improve his offensive skills.
Having been a fixture in our national rankings since 8th grade, expect him to continue to prove doubters wrong as he heads to the Big East Conference next season.
