Houston, TX (Future150) -- Jason Pratt contributed to this report.

The Future150 Memorial Classic Houston featured some of the top 14U division featured some of the top teams in the Southwest and Southeast. There was a ton of talent on display and the top performers from the weekend are below.

Team Thad (Memphis) pretty much dismantled every team they played going 5-0 on the weekend and taking home the MDC Championship.  Team Thad beat the Pearland Hawks 103-75.  The length of Team Thad 14u was staggering.  Wings like Bruce Guy and Justin Bray were quicker than most starting point guards.  Bray is following the Future150 bandwagon to Nashville this weekend for the competitive Nashville Underclassmen Camp.

Bruce Guy, 2019 PF, Team Thad: Guy was one of the more impressive young players we saw all weekend long.  He's a good athlete, great rebounder and can affect the game on both ends. His post game is advanced for a player his age.  He made a living in the paint rebounding offensively and scoring on put backs.  He was pretty much unstoppable.  Tons of upside and look for him to break into the rankings next update.

Justin Bray, 2019 SF, Team Thad: Bray was one of the more consistent players we saw.  He's a glue guy and loves to compete. His skill level increases everytime we see him play.  As he makes his move to the wing more look for his game to take the next step. He's what every coach wants in a player and his teammates feed off his energy.

Antonio Thomas, 2019 PG, Team Thad: Thomas ran the show all weekend long and kept his team poised and always under control. His court vision in the half court makes him a threat at all times. He's like having a coach on the floor. Everytime we see him he gets just a little bit better. Solid overall performance this weekend.

Dashawn Powell, 2019 WG, DFW Hornets: This past weekend for Dashawn was a good one, because he got a chance to display his game in various ways on both ends of the floor. He showed a variety of scoring abilities by using his stop and pop mid-range jump shot in transition and utilizing his 2 man game and involving his big men. He also proved he can defend the 2-5 positions consistently.

Ezekial Tolu Wande, 2019 C, Renegade Outlawz: Wande moves very well.  He already incorporated an effortless baby hook.  Saturday he did not attempt anything outside 6’, but his touch in traffic is excellent.

Jaykob Mamora, 2019 SG, Fort Bend 6ers: Mamora showed off a splendid mid-range game Sunday morning.  With excellent court vision he fuels the offensive machine.  Prior to entering high school Mamora can already dribble into a reliable jumper.

Cameron Beatty-Mitchell, 2019 SF, Fort Bend 6ers:  From the wing position Beatty-Mitchell can handle, slash, or rebound.  He loves the behind-the-back dribble.  Beatty-Mitchell was also one of the best players from Houston Main Event.

Brooks Cartwright, 2019 SG, Renegade Outlawz: The Outlawz took high energy from Cartwright throughout the event.  His attention to detail makes him a coach’s dream.  Defensively he does best against wings.  With this team Brooks is also asked to be a strong defensive rebounder.  His future prospects can be improved by making outside shots.  He was not able to enjoy many looks outside the paint during the Future150 Memorial Day Classic Houston.

Akin Newton-Huff, 2019 SG, Pearland Hawks: Newton-Huff is the kind of guy that will bury a jumper in your eye and tell you about it.  It is fun to watch a confident player succeed.  The weekend was wrapping up and Newton-Huff took a 20’ triple, absorbed a clattering chop from Team Thad 14u, and then gave his defender a stare to bury the knife.  Then the sky opened up.  Three-pointer after three-pointer dropped.  After every Team Thad offering, Newton-Huff answered with his own.  The young men added the popular eating motion on the tail end of each make.  Back and forth.

DeAndre Moore, 2020 PF, Xpress Sports Inc.:  Moore sees openings before they emerge.  His Ty Lawson-vision goes well with a stocky 5’8” frame.  Because he is a powerful player coupled with point guard tendencies Moore is an enticing prospect.  Moore fought hard in the team’s Monday morning loss to Team Thad 14u.

Jacory Robinson 2019 PG, Barrett Station Heat: Robinson has a nice touch inside. Uses the drop step from the post to create space for a hook shot but needs to continually work on his footwork. Has the physical tools to be special, and his skills aren't far behind at all.

Davon Lewis, 2020 PG, Boom City Hornets: Lewis scores very well from the perimeter. Lewis is a high volume shooter that isn't afraid to shoot from 20 ft and in. Plays with a lot of heart and is scrappy on defense.

Zeke Elizondo, 2019 PG, Texas Champions: One of the more pure point guards in the division, Elizondo reads pick'n'rolls very well.  When he executes the play it quickly led to easy layups for his teammates.

Sayvon Frye, 2019 PF, Texas Champions: Frye was last seen in the PrimeTime EYB Tournament in May and in Houston he showed why the staff liked him. He handles the ball at a high level and has great strength. He is unselfish with the ball, but knows when he needs to take over.

Ray Shelton, 2019 C, North Shore Vipers: Big that played solid around the rim. Shelton is a good shot blocker and offensive rebounder.  Shelton needs to work on finishing inside.

Matthew Driver, 2019 PG, North Shore Vipers: Driver hit four threes against the 6ers.  The guard featured nice shooting touch.  He is hard to stop off the catch and shoot.

Marlon Jackson, 2019 SG, Texas Pro 2019: Marlon is a big guard that scores mainly inside. His handles are solid. The lefty attacks the rim hard and finishes well.

Genson Hooper-Price, 2019 SF, Texas Pro 2019: Hooper-Price has the physical tools to be special. Long wingspan, athletic and tall.  The wing runs the floor well and finishes in transition. He has a high motor that makes up for any skill deficiencies.

Jacob Smith, 2019 PG, Shooting Stars: Smith is a quick, athletic guard that scores at a high volume. Needs to continue to make more crisp passes, but is a very willing distributor.

Jaylen Williams, 2019 SF, Shooting Stars:  Williams is a wing that has the tools to be a high level player. Handles are still a kind of slow, but he is a good slasher and rebounder.
