Future150 Main Event Atlanta Honor Roll List:
Jayson Hodges, 2021 CF, Warner Robbins Express (GA): Hodges was active on the glass and in the paint all weekend, but also displayed an ability to play from the perimeter and knock down mid-range jumpers as well. Gifted with a strong frame and quick feet, he was a matchup problem for the majority of the teams that he went up against.
Mario McIntosh, 2021 G/F, Georgia Blackhawks (GA): Standing at 6'3" and possessing some incredible bounce in his step McIntosh was very impressive throughout the weekend. Throwing down multiple dunks in transition and showing his ability to knock down mid-range jumpers on a consistent basis. McIntosh is definitely a prospect to track closely in Georgia.
Kamar Black, 2021 PF, HESE Wolverines (GA): More of a stretch four with a very solid inside-out game, it was easy to tell that Black was a crucial piece to his team's success over the weekend. His upper-body strength and bulky frame allowed him to muscle in tough buckets down low against taller opponents. He showed, on multiple occasion, that he's more than capable of stepping out and knocking down the three point shot when the defense would lay off of him.
Marqueze Reeves, 2021 CG, Wolverine Basketball Club (AL): Reeves possesses crafty ball-handling skills that made it look easy whenever he wanted to create and get his own shot. He also showcased great vision and the ability to penetrate the lane on a consistent basis and kick it out to teammates for wide open shots on multiple occasions. Naturally an unselfish player, Reeves knew when to look to score and when to make the right pass which was great to see for a guard his age.
Zahlen Williams, 2021 F/C, Supreme Team (GA): Standing at 6'6", Williams was one of the most physically imposing bigs in not only his age division, but the entire event. He's still pretty raw down low when it comes to established post moves, but when it came to crashing the glass, running the floor, and protecting the rim, Williams was among the best in the 15U division and it wasn't even close. Don't be surprised to see him with an oppurtunity to play division one college basketball in the future.
Arius Porter, 2021 CG, Warner Robbins Express: Porter did whatever was neccesary for his team to win. Most of the time he handled the ball well, and played excellent defense. Porter did a great job of spreading the ball around to all his teammates making the offense look very fluid and unselfish at all times. Porter may have not scored the most points for his team, but he was oil that helped the motor run well.
Ethan Youngblood, 2021 SF, A-1 Elite (SC): Youngblood has a sweet stroke on his jump shot and stands nearly 6'3". His ball-handling can use some work and he certainly needs to continue to get stronger, but his length and scoring abilties alone is a lot to like for a freshman wing. Keep a close eye on Youngblood as he could develop into one of the best 2021 prospects in the Palmetto State.
