Houston, TX (Future150) -- Future150 Tournament Series was back in Houston to kick off the 2016 with the Easter Showcase this past weekend. Teams from 4 different states were on hand to showcase their talents.

The 16U division featured some of the best talent in the tournament. The Alabama Celtics from the Southeast took home the championship in a big win over Mo Taylor Elite 67-55.

Here are some of the top performers from the 16U division on the weekend.

Damon Harper- PG, 2018 (Alabama Celtics) Harper is a 5-foot-10 inch lightning quick point guard who can get anywhere on the floor he chooses. He showed a good burst with the ball in his hands. For a lead guard, he can flat out shoot the rock from both the mid and long range. His quickness and speed made him tough to stop, as well as, gave him a huge advantage when playing on ball defense.  Big performance from Harper this past weekend.

Dylan Robertson- PF, 2018 (Alabama Celtics) Robertson is a super long, bouncy, and active player on both ends of the floor. He was a double double machine in the 5 games he played leading his team to the championship. His leadership skills, rebounding on both ends, and ability to finish with a variety of moves in the paint is what stood out the most. At one point in the championship game he scored 10 straight points to put the game out of reach. Tons of upside for this D1 prospect.

Harold Joiner- SF, 2018 (Alabama Celtics) Joiner is a 6-foot-5 inches and 210 pound moster. He was attacking the offensive glass like a man on a mission. He had the highlight dunk of the tounament going baseline and throwing down a 2-handed hammer behind his head. His versatility is what stands out about his game the most. He made multiple 3-point shots in mulitple games at crucial points in the game to lead his team to victory. The sky is the limit for this gifted two sport athlete. If he keeps playing like this football might be in the rear view mirror.

Maurice Taylor Jr.- CG, 2018 (Mo Taylor Elite) Taylor is a do it all type guard who can run the show but can also score the rock. All he did this weekend was stay consistent and play within himself. He scored 15 points in the championship game by hitting four 3-pointers as he pushed his team to stay in the game. The one attribute that stood out the most was his competitive nature and the way he approached the game. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree as his dad and coach Mo Taylor was former NBA pro for the Houston Rockets.

Jalen Flowers- CF, 2018 (Mo Taylor Elite) Flowers is a 6-foot-5 inch forward who can play multiple positions on the floor. He is a work horse on both the defensive and offensive glass. The mid range jumper is definitely something he has improved on since we last saw him at our Memorial Day Classic last summer. He made a living around the rim and using his body to create space and finish through contact. Solid overall performance from this do it all combo forward.

Jacob Smith- PG, 2019 (Shooting Stars Red) Smith is a 5-foot-8 point guard who has a good feel to his game. He can get in the lane and score or drop it off to his teammates. His court vision in both the half and full court helps his teammates score easy baskets. If you leave him open, he showed the abiltiy to make the mid range jumper. The attribute that describes his game the best might be slasher at this point in his game.

Calvin Williams- CG, 2018 (KDC Elite) Williams is a 5-foot-6 inch combo guard who might of been the best small guard in the entire tournament. He can flat out play and never lets his size stop him from attacking. He is crafty with the ball and knows how to manipulate the defense with dribble to get his shot off. He can score on all three levels and makes it look easy while doing it. The best attribute to describe his game would be "HEART".

Jarvis Moll- CG, 2018 (Louisiana Jags) Moll is a 6-foot combo guard that is heart and soul of the team. He leads by example and there were times he took over games scoring in bunches. He loves to score in transition and was one of the better finishers on the break. Him just being on the court makes his better all the way around and the one word that describes his game is winner.

Desmond Morris- SF, 2018 (Houston Kings) Morris is a 5-foot-11 inch forward who can play multiple positions on the floor. He scores from all three levels and is a solid on ball defender. The mid range jumper is his best friend and the occasional 3-ball finds his game as well. When he gets it going, energy is something he plays with on both ends of the floor. Rebounding is something he takes pride in when attacking the glass. Solid overall performance this past weekend.

Jay Silver- SF, 2018 (Clear Lake Hoyas) Silver is a familiar face to the Future150 Tournament series and all he does is continue to impress. Hustle is a word that describes his game. He can score from both inside and out when he gets the ball in his hands. In the elite 8 game he scored over 30 points and led his team to victory. Rebounding and being crafty around the rim are two things he takes pride in when helping his team win. Solid overall performance from his high academic player.

Keonte Cornelius- PG, 2019 (KDC Elite) Cornelius is a familar face we continue to see in the Houston area. The reason why is he's so good and only gets better everytime we see him. He has a nice change of pace, great ball skills, and is a prolific 3-point shooter.  Quickness and athleticism are two attributes that help him overcome his lack of size when looking to attack his defenders.  Solid overall perfomance this past weekend.

Chase Campbell- G, 2018 (Shooting Stars Blue) Campbell showed a good all around skill set this past weekend. He was one of the better 3-point shooters we saw over the entire weekend. If you leave him open it's money in the bank. Fundamental play and basketball IQ are two words that describe his game to this point. As he continues to grow and becomes more aggressive to the rim so will his game.

Jaylen Alsanders- SF, 2018 (TBT Disciples) Alsanders is a 6-foot-1 inch wing player who can score on all three levels. He loves to get out on the fast break and score. His biggest weapon to date is his ability to drop the 3-point ball with consistency. During pool play, he scored 21 points going 5 of 7 from the 3 point line and led his team to the win. If you're looking for a shooter, this is your guy. As he contiues to get better scoring off the bounce look for his game to take the next step in his development.

Detalian Joseph- SF, 2018 (FYN All-Stars) Joseph was one of the most consistent scorers we saw all weekend long. He averaged  double figues in scoring and almost the same in rebounds. He can play inside and out. Rebounding on the offensive end is where he scored a ton of points. He made scoring off the bounce look easy. You have to fall in love with the fact that when the ball is in his hands, you pretty much know he is gonna score.
