Dallas, TX (Future150) -- The Future150 Camp Series was back on the road again and its destination this past weekend was Dallas, TX. The Metroplex has produces some of the top players in the country year in and year out. Players like King McClure, Jeremiah Jefferson, CJ Roberts and many more have all participated the past couple of years.
This years camp would be no different. There were tons of young talent looking to get their names on the national radar and out to the college coaches. Here are the top prospects from the All-Star game that took place on Sunday afternoon.
Kedarius Stampley, SG - Forth Worth, TX (2020): Stampley is a smooth lefty with long arms and a nice frame. He loves attacking the rim off the dribble in both the full and half courts. His game is deceptive and is a crafty scorer around the rim. Absorbing contact and finishing at the rim was what he did best. If you leave him open he can knock down shots. Solid overall weekend from the young freshman.
Kenneth Reeves II, SF - North Richland Hills, TX (2018): Reeves has long arms and a somewhat wiry frame which allows him to be versatile on both ends of the floor. He made a living knocking down the mid range jumper from 10-16 feet. Rebounding and playing good on ball defense are things he does well in the half court. The energy he plays with is infectious and he never gives up on a play. Solid overall weekend for this intriguing prospect.
Michael McKinney, PG - Wichita, KS (2017): McKinney is a lead guard who makes everyone around him better. He has a good feel for the game and showed a good change of pace in the half court. Court vision, mid-range jumpers and scoring in transition is what stood out the most for this talented prospect. As he continues to work on shot consistency, coaches would definitely like for him running their show.

He made his mark this past weekend shoot the ball from the 3-point line with consistency. If you saw him play for the first time, he will leave you saying thats the type player every coach wants on their team. You have to love how hard he plays on both end of the floor.
Luis Rodriguez, PG - The Colony, TX (2019): Rodriguez is a familiar face to the Future150 family and everytime we see him play, his game gets better. This lead guard knows how to run a team and is extremely focal when he's on the floor. The one thing he has improved is his shot making consistency especially the long ball from three. Fundamentals, leadership and making plays are three things he did well all weekend long and it landed him in the All-Star Game.
Kaylon Paley, PG - Houston, TX (2018): Paley might be small in stature but he plays with a ton of heart. This high volume scorer can really fill it up from long range and at one point during the camp he made 7 straight three's in a game. As his off the dribble game and ball handling continues to improve, look for his game to take the next step. The one thing all defenses must do is find him immediately in the half court, if not he will make you pay with the long ball.
Deaunte Lee, SG - Dallas, TX (2019): Lee is a 6-foot-2 inch scoring machine. He can score on all three levels and has a super fundamental shot that helps with his consistency. He showed good athleticism and is an excellent on ball defender. Solid overall weekend.
Isaiah Lewis, SG - Little Elm, TX (2019): Lewis is a 6-foot-5 inch wiry player with a ton of upside to his game. He has long arms, active hands and is a crafty scorer from the wing position. Most of his scoring came on the fast break where he is a excellent finisher at the rim. One of his best attributes is his on ball defense where he uses his frame to guard multiple positions. As his shot consistency continues to grow look for his game to take the next step.
Zion Richardson, CG - Plano, TX (2019): Richardson has a nice frame and showed excellent athleticism when attacking the rim. He was one of the more well rounded players and can do it all on both ends. Competitor, shot maker and finisher are three attributes that would best describe his game to date. If you leave him open, he's going to knock down shots from not only the mid range but also the three point line. Definitely a prospect that the college coaches should keep their eye on.
Brenden Vessel, PG - Baton Rogue, LA (2018): Vessel has a nice body and a strong frame. He is a excellent on ball defender and has the strength to finish through contact when attacking the rim. Court vision both in transition and the half court is something he does extremely well. This camp alum has improved his shot making ability since we saw him a couple of years ago. If you leave him open from long range he will make you pay. Consistency is something he will need to continue to develop.

As he gets stronger and more athletic, look for his game to take the next step. He is definitely a player to keep your eye on as he continues to develop.
George Merida, PG - Duncanville, TX (2018): Merida is a power point guard who has a strong frame and knows how to use it when attacking. He's at his best when in the open floor and creating for others. The dribble is something he uses to get anywhere on the floor he choose while creating for his teammates. Court Vision, mid-range jumpers and on ball defense are three things he did really well over the weekend. His consistent play landed him in the All-Star game.
Jonathan Taylor, SG - Frisco, TX (2020): Taylor is a fundamental player who doesn't try to do to much when he's on the floor. On offense he runs to his spots and showed the ability to make shots. He can get extremely hot from the behind the arc if you leave him open and he did that all weekend. The one thing he did well was make the right pass and played solid defense in the half court. As his confidence and athleticism grows, so will his game. Solid overall weekend shoot the ball.
Aaron Gregg, PG - Cedar Park, TX (2017): Gregg is a familiar face to the camp and everytime we see him he has added something to his game. He shot the ball with more consistency than in the past. He loves scoring in transition and makes most of his plays in the open floor. On ball defense is one of his better attributes and finishing at the rim through contact. He loves to compete and is really up set if he doesn't win. All coaches want this type of player on their team.
Dylan Becker, SG - Frisco, TX (2019): Becker is a familar face to the camp after seeing him last month in houston. This lead guard is extremely fundamental, showed good court vision when creating off the bounce and solid on ball defender. The open thing he has improved since we saw him last was his confidence has risen and the ability to score more. Scoring all three levels makes him tough to guard and almost impossible to take off the floor from a coaching perspective. Solid overall weekend.
