Lake Charles, LA (Future150) -- A Future150 alum made his college choice known on Tuesday night, pledging his allegiance to the Baylor Bears.
Mark Vital, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Washington-Marion High School (LA), became the first 2016 commit for the Big 12 school, and it definitely holds some weight nationally.
He is currently rated as the #58 prospect in the country, and the #1 prospect in his class in the state of Louisiana.
After a huge showing at the Super Soph Camp this spring in Atlanta, his stock has continued to rise nationally on the AAU circuit over the summer with Southern Elite.
The Bears will be getting a superb athlete who fits perfectly into their offensive scheme. He thrives by playing transition basketball, finishing anything around the basket with rim-rattling dunks. He also rebounds the basketball extremely well and can knock down shots consistently from mid-range.
