Norman, OK (Future150) -- The former MVP of Future150's Elite 24 Camp, Trae Young decided to cut his list of schools on Tuesday afternoon. Young held over twenty offers but decided to cut his list down to eleven.
The potential destinations that remain for Young are Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, SMU, Stanford, Texas, Texas Tech, and Virginia.
Now that the list is at least a little slimmed down for Young, he can really focus in on getting to know all the coaching staffs and programs a lot better. Many believe that blue-bloods Duke, Kansas and Kentucky lead the way for Young.
At the same time, it is tough to count out in-state schools Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. Even the high major programs around the area like Texas and Texas Tech will be able to put up a fight thanks to having good recruiting head coaches with Shaka Smart and Tubby Smith respectively.
Overall this should be a fun recruitment to follow, and whoever lands Young will be getting a very special lead guard with a Steph Curry like skillset.
