Orlando, FL (Future150) -- Nassir Little has been ranked nationally by Future150 since 8th grade, where he first broke out at the 2014 Orlando Camp. As a 6-foot-6 wing, he showcased the ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the rim, as well as rebound and defend at a high rate. He came out of that camp projected as a high-major prospect.

Fast forward three years, and Little has done more than enough to back that projection up. The four-star wing has turned one of the most glaring weaknesses into a strength and is now a very good three point shooter.

He proved as much at The Showdown in O'Town, where Little went 4-of-6 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points in the first half.

"You don't understand, I've put so much emphasis on it every morning and every day, making sure I do the right things and working on my mechanics in practice. I've come a long way," Little said of his improved stroke.

Now, he is a complete scorer, and a decent defender. In the next rankings update he will certainly take a bump up.

Things are picking up on the recruiting front as well. Notre Dame, UCLA, UNC, and Kansas have all started to recruit him in recent months, while Virginia Tech, Florida State, Florida, Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, USC and Louisville are among the programs that have already offered him. Little plans on visiting UCLA sometime in the next few weeks as well.

"I'm looking for a school with good academics because my education is really important to me. I also want to find somewhere that will let me get out and run in transition," said Little.

Playing with Showtime Hoops on the Under Armour circuit this year, Little should be one of the more sought after players on the 17U level. Look for him to continue his climb up the rankings and potentially pick up a fifth star along the way.
