New York, NY (Future150) -- Keyshawn Embery may not be a name recruitniks are familiar with just yet, but thanks to playing on the UA circuit with Oklahoma PWP 17s, thats about to change.
The 6-foot-4 guard looks every bit the part of a high-major player, and played pretty well during the first session of the UA circuit. Embery averaged 8 points, 4 boards, and 2 assists a game during his time in New York.
"It's good experience, I think playing up against good competition is going to help me as a player, everyone one here is good and everyone works hard" he said of his first weekend of the live period.
Kansas State, Tulsa and TCU have all offered, while Texas, Texas Tech and Kansas have all shown interest. Embery took visits to both Kansas and Tulsa this past fall.
The recruiting process has really just begun for him though, and certainly more schools will come calling in the next two weeks. Outside of Oklahoma, Embery is still very much an unknown, but the 2018 guard has the tools to be an elite member of hsi class. Look for him to continue to boost his stock as the AAU season continues.
