New Haven, CT (Future150) -- Every season, a number of players use the National Prep Showcase as a proving ground and rack up a number of offers along the way. For Bridgton Academy's Elijah Campbell , that was the goal leading into the prestegious showcase.
While the first offer has yet to hit the table for the Florida native, it only seems as though as it's a matter of time. A talented scoring guard at 6-foot-4, Campbell has learned how to create shots for his teammates as well. The Future150 Alum has always been a talented scorer, but his improved ability to facilitate could be the key to landing that first scholarship.
"I've been hearing from Wake Forest, Colgate, and Deleware a little bit recently," said Campbell.
While the ACC program is more than likely keeping tabs should Campbell make another siginificant jump in his game, Colgate and Deleware would be smart to jump on him now. Campbell is also hoping that his year at Bridgton will bring him the level of exposure that his former school lacked.
With a great coaching staff behind him and playing in a league that is highly competitve, Campbell appears poised to lock down that coveted first scholarship offer. Follow along with Future150 as we continue to cover the Alum's senior year.
