New Orleans, LA (Future150) -- It has been a long road for Future150 camp alum Aaron Bolt, who has been going through the recruitment process for several months heading into July.
However, the process has now concluded for the 6-foot-10 big man, as he has decided to commit to Blue Mountain, a local NAIA college.
"Blue Mountain is a good school, and it isn't too far away. It is also a Christian school, and that was something my parents and I liked," Bolt explained when asked about his commitment.
Bolt says he plans to officially sign next week.
Last summer, Bolt was looking for exposure, and it led him to the Future150 camp in New Orleans; after a superb performance, he earned the right to attend the National Camp in Nashville.
"Future150 really helped me get exposed and get better," he explained. "It helped me understand the different levels of college basketball and what the next level is going to look like."
Bolt chose Blue Mountain over about 10 schools, including Mississippi College, Belhaven College, and other community colleges.
