Birmingham, AL (Future150) -- The 2017 Future150 All-Southeast Camp will be taking place this weekend, and the roster is shaping up to be pretty impressive. Last year, Sidney-Lanier (AL) wing Antwan Burnett destroyed the competition, winning MVP honors, and landing himself a spot in our class of 2020 national top 100. This year, the talent pool looks to be deeper, with several talented 2020 and 2021 prospects registered.
Elite24 All-Stars Heading To Birmingham To Defend Their Rep
Star power won't be a problem at the camp, with several Future150 Elite24 All-Star selections from our 2016 camp present. Class of 2020 prospects Antoine Parker, Devin Wilson, Kaleb Jenkins & Larry Holmes Jr. will be at camp, along with 2021 standouts Brookes Kahlert, DaVeon Thomas & Tyler Rice looking to protect their reputation in Alabama.
Which Camper Will Emerge?
Undoubtedly, there will be a few prospects who jump off the roster page at us with their surprising play. This camp will be no different than every other Future150 camp. A few prospects who could end up being that guy this weekend are Georgia 2021 wing Garrison Powell and/or South Carolina guard Adonis Davis.
Alabama State Playoff Implications
Alabama state tournament action has started, and with the elimination of teams throughout this week, several notable freshman could be making their appearance at the camp. Who exactly will be showing up? That will hinge on if their season is still intact come Friday. Stay tuned!
